Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, October 30, 1999 
Elsie V. Williams, 69, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, died Oct. 27, 1999,
at a local hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she had been retired for two years from the Norfolk Public
School System after 30 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist
Church Lambert's Point, Norfolk, and the widow of Willie Williams Sr.

She is survived by a son, Staff Sgt. Willie W. Williams Jr. of Camp Lejeune,
N.C., and a daughter-in-law, Tammer Williams; a niece, Beverly A. Lee; aunts,
Elsie R. Chambers and Alice C. Bullock; grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Toccara
Williams and Whitley Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Monday at First Baptist Church Lambert's Point.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will assemble at 2849 Mapleton
Ave. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
