MARY W. WILLIAMS

NORFOLK - Mary Wilson Williams, 68, of 1049 Rainey Drive, a native of Norfolk and 
the widow of James Williams, died Tuesday in a hospital.

Mrs. Williams was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Catholic 
Church for a total of 60 years.

Survivors include four daughters, Martha W.M. Jones and Margaret G. Williams, both 
of Norfolk, Helen W. Edwards of Detroit and Mary Staten of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; 
four sons, Edward P. Williams of Montgomery, Ala., Charles H. Williams of Seoul, 
Korea, Sam J. Williams of Fort Lee, and Jim E. Williams of Herndon; 16 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in St. 
Mary's Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas J. Quinlan.  Burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Monday in St. Mary's Cemetery.

A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic 
Church.  The family will assemble at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Jones Funeral Home.  
Memorial donations may be sent to the church restoration fund.
