Virginian-Pilot  December 9, 1949
MRS. SARAH BAREFIELD WILLIAMS, 88, widow of Francis M. Williams, died yesterday at 
11:15 a.m. at a local hospital.

Mrs. Williams was a native of New Fall, Ala., and had been a resident of Norfolk 
for a number of years, residing at 9407 Atlans Avenue at the time of her death.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Williams Comstock, of Norfolk; Mrs. 
Alma Williams Beatty, of Ardmore, Pa., and Mrs. Agnes Williams Altizer, of 
Norfolk, and one son, Henry Williams, of Portsmouth.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church, Ocean View, for services tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.  Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments tonight 
at 8:30 o'clock.
