Born in Princess Anne County, she was a domestic worker and a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Usher Board and Prayer Band. She was a member of United Order of Tents, No. 8. The widow of Robert J. Williams, she is survived by three sisters, Earlene Jackson and Sarah Glover, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Minnie Wingate of Norfolk; 24 nieces and nephews; 42 great-nieces; and other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Thursday at First Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Johnny L. White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be ready for viewing at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at 3119 Strathmore Ave. at 11 a.m. for the procession.
