Williams of the 700 block of Rockingham St. He was a native of Norfolk and the youngest son of the late Bishop D. Lawrence Williams. Survivors include two daughters, Tamona and Cherise Williams; his mother, Janie F. Williams; five sisters, Lenora Sutton, Jessie Boyette, Helen Turner, Gloria Wade and Ruth Williams; four brothers, Robert D. Williams, William Dove Williams, Pastor David B. Williams, the Rev. Joseph T. Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and former wife and friend, Maria Williams. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Mason Memorial Church, 744 Goff St., Norfolk. A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday with Pastor David B. Williams and Elder Joseph T. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cards, telegrams and condolences may be sent to the church or the home of Pastor David B. Williams, 1356 Wakefield Circle, Virginia Beach, VA 23455. Riddick Funeral Service is in charge.
