Born in Ivor, Va., she was a retired housewife. She was a member of Garden of Prayer Worship Center and had been educated in Southampton County. The widow of Walter H. Williams, she is survived by two stepdaughters, Willie Mae Warren and husband, Elder William H. Warren, and Minister Florence Reynolds and husband, Clifton; two sisters, Blanche Davis and Alice Brown and husband, the Rev. Addison Brown; a brother, Ernest Bowers; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Pearl H. and Howard Bowers. A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Garden of Prayer COGIC by Bishop L.E. Willis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family will assemble at the home at noon Saturday for the funeral procession. Remains will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
