Norfolk - Final rites for Miss Evelyn Yvonne Williams, a daughter of Bishop D.
Lawrence Williams of 1201 Merrimac avenue were conducted in C. H. Mason Memorial
Church of God in Christ Nov. 3.  The Rev. H. C. Clark officiated.
A native of Newport News, she was a daughter of Bishop D. Lawrence Williams and
the late Mrs. Cora M. Williams.

She was a member of C. H. Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Surviving, besides her father, are a stepmother, Mrs. Janette F. Williams;  six
brothers, Robert, David, Joseph, and Samuel of Norfolk, Leroy Williams of
Washington, DC, and William Williams of Danbury, CT;  and six sisters, Mrs.
Jessie Boyette of Norfolk, Mrs. Lenora Neely and Mrs. Gloria McCord of Brooklyn,
Mrs. Helen Turner, Mrs. Ruth Gibson and Miss Sarah Williams of Chicago.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.
