Norfolk Journal and Guide, Friday, Oct 20,1978

Norfolk - Mrs. Mary J. Williams of 619 E. Berkley Ave., the wife of Willie
Williams and a native of Norfolk died Oct. 9 in her home.

She was employed by Truitt Junior High School 18 years.
She was a member of First Trinity AME Church, where she was a stewardess and
member of the gospel choir..

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marian Williams and Mrs. Alice
Cuffee of Norfolk;  A son, Richard Riddick of New York, eight grandchildren; 
and a great-grandchild.

A funeral was held Oct. 14 in St. Mark United Church of Christ by the Rev. H. E.
Jefferson.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Metropolitan Funeral Home had charge.
