Williams of the 100 block of Cromwell Parkway died June 7, 2004, at DePaul Medical Center. Born in Norfolk, she worked in the custodial department for Norfolk public schools. She was a member of Second Calvary Baptist Church where she was on Usher Board No. 1. She is survived by her husband, Fred L. Williams; a son, Michael Williams of Hackensack, N.J.; her mother, Mildred Jackson of Norfolk; two sisters, Sandra Spellman of Norfolk and Vanessa Jackson-Yancey of Chesapeake; a brother, Fred Jackson Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Fred Jackson Sr. A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Second Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Guns with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing Friday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The body will be placed in the church at 9 a.m. The family will assemble at 1315 Reservoir Ave. at 9:30 a.m. for the procession.
