Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, May 8, 2008 
NORFOLK - Lorraine Williams, 77, of the 800 block of Rugby St., passed away May
6, 2008. A native of Portsmouth, Mrs. Williams lived in Norfolk most of her
life. She was born March 8, 1931, to the late Lula Bynum Curtis and Leroy
Curtis. She was predeceased by a sister, Myropia Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory nine daughters; three sons; 27 grandchildren;
28 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a niece, Sylvia Avery
of Norfolk; a goddaughter, Toni Reid; a stepson, Bernard Robinson; and a host of
other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral
Service, 7246 Granby St. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family
and friends will assemble at the chapel at 1:45 p.m. Condolences may be sent to
Jannell N. Young-Ancrum, 11604 Flagship Ave., Fort Washington, MD 20744 and
