Norfolk - Mrs. Bessie F. Williams died March 20, in a Hampton Hospital. She was
the widow of Leo V. Williams Sr.

She was a member of Bank Street Memorial Church, where she was a member of the
Sunday School, the Women's Bible Class, the Nannie Hughes Memorial Circle, the
United Order of Tents. She was also a member of the Huntersville Garden Club and
the Royal Literary Diadem and Art Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marie W. Harris of Norfolk, and Mrs.
Adaline W. Woodhurst of Portsmouth; two sons, Leo V. Williams Jr. and Luther B.
Williams Sr. of Norfolk, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, Mar. 25, at Bank Street Memorial Church with
the Rev. J. C. Griffin officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves
Funeral Home in charge.
