Mrs. Sarah E. Williams, wife of the late Mr. Lazarus Williams, died in New York
at the home of her daughter at the age of 86.

She was born in Norfolk but had lived in New York for about 50 years.

While in Norfolk she was a member of St. John AME Church where she was a
stewardess. She was also a member of the United Order of Tents and Daughters of
Norfolk.

She is survived by one son, Russell Williams, New York; one daughter, Mrs.
Marion Generletet, New York; one sister, Mrs. Mary E. Johnson, Norfolk and a
host of grandchildren and great grandchildren..

Funeral services were conducted at the Riddick Chapel with Rev. J. R. Johnson,
Jr. officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Riddick's Funeral Service was
in charge.
