The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 26, 1914


Mrs. Adelia E. Williams, widow of Thomas Williams, died at the residence of her 
sister, Mrs. J.B. Pebworth, 815 Windsor Avenue, yesterday morning at 5 o’clock, 
aged 69 years. She leaves three sisters, Mrs. J.B. Pebworth, of Norfolk, Mrs. 
J.E. Old of Princess Anne County, and Miss Margaret Jarvis of Norfolk; three 
brothers, W.T. Jarvis of Princess Anne County, Thomas L. Jarvis of Moyock, 
N.C., and H.F. Jarvis of Norfolk. The funeral will be held from the residence 
today at 2 p.m. The services will be conducted by Rev. J.T. Anderson, pastor of 
Park Avenue Baptist Church, and interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
