Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, June 25, 2003 
Catherine Askew Williams, 82, of the 700 block of Elizabeth River Circle, died
June 20, 2003.

A native of Elizabeth City, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Zion and
Louise Askew.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer M. Williams; a daughter, Aguila Melody
Williams; and two grandsons, Edward D. Williams and Jordan Lee Williams.

A funeral will be held Friday at noon in Garretts Community Baptist Church, 2843
Victoria Ave., Norfolk, by Bishop Johnnie L. Reid. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . Viewing will be held Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral
Service. The family will receive friends at the residence.
