Washington - Eugene Clifton Williams, of 1211 Quincy St. NW, died Tuesday in a 
Washington hospital after a long illness.

He was a son of the late Joseph O. and Mrs. Annie Harris Williams and was born 
in Norfolk. He lived in Washington the last 30 years and was employed by Frank 
R. Jelleff Co. 46 years.

He was a member of Elam Baptist Church, Charles City County.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Hudgins Williams, three sisters, Mrs. Eunice 
W. Dailey of Norfolk and Mrs. Lillian C. Williams and Miss Adelaide T. Williams 
of New York City; and one brother, Joseph O. Williams of Philadelphia.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service, Norfolk, VA, where a funeral 
service will be conducted in Shiloh Baptist Church Sunday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. 
W. L. Hamilton, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will 
assemble in the home of Mrs. Ruth Hodges Becton, 874 Goochland St.
