Mrs. Sadie V. Williams died at her residence on Falkland street, Friday evening, 
October 23, at 7 p.m. after an illness of several months. Funeral service was held 
from the deceased’s late home conducted by the Rev. R. L. Bowling of First Baptist 
Church of which she was a member of long standing. Mrs. Williams was well known 
and highly respected. She is survived by two children, Ethel Clarine and Clarence 
L. Williams, a mother, Mrs. Georgia Custis, a husband and a host of friends. 
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
