The remains of Mrs. Ida Barcroft Williams, of Norfolk, wife of E.S. Williams, 
arrives here tomorrow from Henderson, N.C., where she died yesterday. The 
funeral will take place at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery on the arrival of the 
train over the Southern Railway at 8:50 o’clock tomorrow morning.



The remains of Ida Barcroft Williams, wife of E.S. Williams, arrived here this 
morning at 10:30 o’clock, over the Southern Railway, from Henderson, N.C., 
accompanied by the husband, son and other family members. The funeral took 
place at the grave in Elmwood, and was largely attended, Rev. W.T. Green of 
the McKendree Methodist Church Officiating. There were many beautiful floral 
tributes. The pall bearers were L.W. Davis, G.B. Ferebee, H.O. Billups, C. 
Elmo Billups, John W. Gamage and W.H. Gray.
