Norfolk Ledger Dispatch March 25, 1926

Mrs. Alice Anna Williams, aged 75 years, died this morning at 8:10 o'clock at 
her residence, 409 Mulberry Street, after a brief illness. She was born in Isle 
of Wight County but had lived here for the last fifty-five years. She was the 
daughter of the late Captain E.F. Wicks and Mrs. Sarah Wills Wicks and is 
survived by her husband, G.D. Williams, two daughters, Mrs. T.A. Guilladeu, Jr. 
and Miss Alice Williams; two sons, G. Herman Williams and F. Dallas Williams and 
one sister, Mrs. Lycurgus Berkley.
Mrs. Williams had been a consistent member of Memorial Methodist Church and had 
always taken an active part in church work.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the 
residence and burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
