B. Williams of Walker avenue, who passed away Thursday, at a local hospital were held from the First Trinity A.M.E. Church with the Rev. H. B. Threadgill officiating, assisted by Rev. Mr. Brown of St. James A.M.E. Church. Miss Williams was a senior of Virginia State College and would have graduated in June, 1945. She graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School, and the Norfolk Division of Virginia State College, where she was a very popular student. She was active in church and generally liked by nearly everyone on the Southside area. During the funeral services, a solo was rendered by Mrs. Mary Long and condolences were read by Mrs. M. B. Holmes, W. A. Vaughn and Mrs. Hattie H. Hicks. Miss Williams is survived by her parents, one grandmother and one grandfather, four aunts, three uncles and others. Interment was in Mt.
