Zion Baptist Church with the acting pastor in charge. He was a familiar figure around the Southside area and was known to all as a pleasant person. He was a lover of dogs and owned a great number of the animals. He is survived by two brothers,L. and A. Williams, and was a member of the Young Men’s Evening Star and the National Ideal Lodge. Interment was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Fitchett and Bell Funeral Home in charge.
