Norfolk Journal and Guide,Feb 17,1945
Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Williams were held from the St. Thomas Church with 
the Rev. A. J. Stringfield officiating assisted by the Rev. Cleveland Freeman.

Condolences were read by Mrs. Stringfield. Solos were rendered by Mrs. Louise 
Mitchell and Mrs. Cheatham.

On a special request of the deceased, “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder” was 
sung. A. Bell read the church condolences. Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
