Virginian-Pilot, August 28, 1894
The funeral of Mr. Wm. H. Williford, No. 582 Central Avenue, was preached at 
3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at First Baptist Church by Rev. W. S. Leake, 
of the Third Baptist Church. His father and mother and two brothers and two sisters
from Bertie County, N. C., were in the city. A delegation of Columbia Lodge, I. O.
O. F., of which he was a member, was present
