RUFUS C. WILLOUGHBY

NORFOLK - Rufus Cobb Willoughby, of 115 W. Freemason St., a retired engineering 
inspector of the City of Norfolk, died in a hospital Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.

A native of Alabama, he lived here 25 years.  He was a member of Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church.

He retired from the city after 14 years.  Previously he worked for Stone & Webster 
Co. for many years.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. J. W. Miller, of Birmingham.

The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church for a funeral service Thursday at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
