Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, March 17, 1994 
Mary Edith Wills of the 600 block of Governors Way, a homemaker, died March 15, 
1994, in Norfolk. 
Mrs. Wills was born in Littleton, N.C., and was the widow of Esra A. Wills. She 
was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Norfolk. 
Survivors include one daughter; one sister; one brother; three grandchildren; 
four great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law; and a host of 
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 
Norfolk, by Dr. Raymond Dean. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family 
is meeting at E.A. Hughes Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Friday for the procession 
to the church. A Christian wake will be held at the funeral home from 8 to 9 
p.m. today.
