Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 12, 1940

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Wilson, aged 21, wife of Willis Wilson and daughter of 
James William and Mrs. Ida Jacobs Rose, died at a local hospital yesterday 
morning at 9:25 o'clock. Mrs. Wilson was a native of South Norfolk and had spent 
her entire life in this section. Besides her husband and parents, she is 
survived by two brothers, James William Rose, Jr. and Clinton Rose and one 
sister, Mrs. Grace Rose all of South Norfolk.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Francis Bambrick, 
of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.

MRS. DOROTHY ELIZABETH WILSON - Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson, whose death 
occurred Thursday, will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, this afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev F. V. 
Bambrick, of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating.  Interment will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.
