Mrs. Matilda Wilson - Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson of 809 Walker avenue were held at First Trinity AME Church Sunday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mr. Eastland, pastor, officiating.  Mrs. Wilson is survived by one son, Alphonso Wilson;  one daughter, Mrs. Elois Holland;  one sister, Mrs. Sarah McClendon;  five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge.  Norfolk Journal and Guide,Sep 10,1949
