The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday April 12, 1946
Leigh Wilson, husband of Mrs. Marie Whitehurst Wilson and a former well-
known resident of Norfolk, died Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Winston-
Salem, N.C.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Marie Whitehurst Wilson, he is survived by one son, 
Lieut. Stewart Leigh Wilson, AUS; three sisters, Mrs. Leroy Roper, of 
Petersburg, Mrs. J.G. Roberts, of Clarksville, Mo., and Mrs. C.A. Carnelson, 
of Washington, and one brother, A.R. Wilson, of Waco, Tex.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
today at 12 o'clock noon.
