Wilson died in Washington, D.C., Tuesday afternoon, where she had been on a visit for two months, her demise following an illness of one month. The deceased was a native of Norfolk and was in the 70th year of her age, and was well known, both in Norfolk and Washington, where she was highly esteemed for her many beautiful traits of character, having gone to the latter city about twenty years ago to reside, but after the death of her husband, Thomas B. Wilson, in November last, she has made her home here with her nephew, T. Marshall Bellamy, in Larchmont. Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Isaac and Catherine Smith, of Norfolk, her father during his life being a well known architect in this city. The funeral was held in Washington yesterday. The remains will arrive here this morning and the interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The service at the grace will be conducted by Rev. Reuben Meredith, of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
