Norfolk - Funeral rites were given John Wilson of 7442 Divan street Sunday at 
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. W. H. Crews officiating.  Burial was 
in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Princess Anne County, he was the husband of Mrs. Mary Wilson and a 
son of the late Isaac Wilson and Mrs. Liza Wilson.  He died July 7 in a hospital 
after a long illness.

He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and 
usher.  He was also a retired farmer.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Minnie L. Burgins 
of Baltimore;  three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
