Wilson, a retired trucker of Norfolk county and one of its best known and highly esteemed citizens, died yesterday morning at 1 o'clock at the home of his son, Dr. N.G. Wilson, after a brief illness from paralysis. The deceased was a native of Adams county, Pennsylvania, born December 9, 1834. He moved to Virginia when about 18 years old, where he lived continuously and was one of her most loyal subjects. At the close of the Civil War he married Miss Maria Frances Edwards, daughter of Dr. A.L. Edwards, of Surry county, Va., a representative of one of Norfolk's oldest families. To this union was born three sons. In 1870 he moved his family to Norfolk county where he resided until his death. In 1873 his first wife died and three years later he married Miss Maria Mildred Seawell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Watt Tyler Seawell, of Gloucester county, Va. In 1888, he lost his second wife, leaving three sons and one daughter. The children are B.F. Wilson, Jr., of Birmingham, Ala.; C.B. Wilson, of Knoxville, Tenn.; Drs. A.E., N.G. and F.D. Wilson and a daughter, Miss Mildred Wilson, all of this city. The funeral will be conducted from the above residence this morning at 11 o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
