NORFOLK - Mrs. Florence Archer Wilson of 2724 Pioneer Ave., widow of Thomas V. 
Wilson Sr., died Friday in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street; 
Helpers Club and Dorcas Class.

Surviving are two sons, James E. Wilson of New York City, and Thomas V. Wilson 
Jr. of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Garnette of Norfolk; four brothers, Dr. 
Edward R. Archer, Richard Archer and James P. Archer of Norfolk, and John Archer 
of Canton, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Saunders of Norfolk, and Mrs. Cleo A. 
Robinson of New York City; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Bute 
Street, by the Rev. E. Paul Simms. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. B.F. King 
Funeral Home has charge.
