The Virginian-Pilot, Monday, August 8, 1966

NORFOLK - Walter Wilson Sr. of 2741 Beachmont Ave. died Saturday in his home.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Annie Wilson. He was a member of St.
Paul A.M.E. Church, Progressive Lodge 80, Norfolk Social Club, and Lancaster Social
Club.

Surviving besides the widow are four sons, Willie Wilson, Walter Wilson Jr., and
James Wilson of Norfolk and Ollie Wilson of New York; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy
Miller and Miss Clara Wilson of Norfolk, Miss Annie Wilson and Mrs. Elmira
Shackelford of New York.

The body is at Graves Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Walter Wilson Sr. will be held Thursday at 12:30
p.m. in St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Graves
Funeral Home in charge. The body will be in church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
