Virginian Pilot August 26, 1902
The funeral of Mr. Robert Wilson, who departed this life at his home, 91 
Charlotte Street, was held from the residence at 11 o’clock yesterday morning 
in the presence of a large concourse of the friends of the deceased. 
Delegations from the Board of Trade and Business Men’s association, the 
Woodsmen of the World, and National Union, of which Mr. Wilson was a member, 
attended the obsequies. The service was conducted by Rev. W. A. Barr, rector of 
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. There was a profusion of beautiful floral 
tributes. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the 
pallbearers: Messrs. R. Hunter Rodgers, W. L. Brooke, John N Dexell, J. Hardy, 
C. E. Finch and H. P. T. Drummond.
