Edna Hall Wilson of the 2500 block of Karen Marie Court died Feb. 12, 2001.

A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mattie Hall
and the widow of Robert Wilson. She had been a member of New Calvary Baptist
Church, Usher Board No. 1, IBPOE of W No. 1A and a member of the Ballentine
Civic League.

Survivors include three daughters, Marion Beaman and husband, Melvin, Vivian
Blocker, and Catherine Wilson; a son, Robert ``Hall'' Wilson; a brother, Herman
``Chub'' Hall and wife, Olia; 14 grandchildren, three of whom were reared in the
home, Angela Palmer and husband, Steve, Kimberly Bright and husband Roger and
Sidney Lemmom; 19 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a devoted adopted daughter, Serena N.
Thomas.

A funeral will be at noon Saturday in New Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev.
Gilbert G. Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family
will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m.
Friday at Riddick Funeral Service.
