The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday December 6, 1951
Simon A. Wilson, 84, retired jewelrysmith, died unexpectedly Saturday at his
home, 1316 Outten Street.  Funeral services will be conducted at the Bank Street
Baptist Church Sunday after the morning service by the Rev. John B. Henderson,
pastor.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

He was a native of North Carolina and had resided in Norfolk more than 50 years.
 Many years ago he operated a jewelry shop at Church Street and Princess Anne Road.

Surviving are two foster daughters, Miss Evelyn Weaver, of Norfolk, and Mrs
Daisy Gray, of Philadelphia, Pa and seven grandchildren.
