Roderick E. Wilson of the 5800 block of Frament Ave. died May 30, 1997.

A native of Princess Anne County, he is survived by two daughters, Ava Jones and
Amy Jones, both of Washington, D.C.; stepdaughter, Sharon Artis of Washington,
D.C.; two stepsons, Anthony Artis and Freddie Artis, both of Washington, D.C.;
five sisters, Leatrice W. Mosley and Meanor W. Garnette, both of Virginia Beach,
Ruth W. Jackson and Oscellette W. Grimes, both of Norfolk, and Margaree W. Parks
of Winchester, Va.; two brothers, Paul L. Wilson of Virginia Beach and James E.
Wilson Jr. of Chesapeake; a grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Community Funeral Home Chapel,
Norfolk, by the Rev. D. Lavon Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The
family will receive friends at 933 E. Kaster Arch, Virginia Beach. The family
will also receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.
