The Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 7, 1942


Walter Ernest Wilson, aged 61, son of the late William Curtis and Mrs. 
Margaret A. Smith Wilson, died yesterday morning at 11:15 o’clock. Mrs. Wilson 
was a native of Princess Anne County, and a resident of Norfolk for the past 
50 years, residing at 501 Dunmore Street at the time of his death. He is 
survived by a brother-in-law, Hillary Lambert, of Norfolk, and several nieces 
and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, 1501 Colonial Avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 
4 o’clock, with the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of the Central Baptist 
Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
