Virginian Pilot August 19, 1993

Harry F. "Ja-Bo" Wilson Jr., 81, of Edenton, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 
18, 1993.
A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Lillian and Harry F. Wilson Sr., 
and husband of Willie Mae Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a retired Norfolk fireman, 
where he was employed for 28 years. He was a member of the Musicians Union 
(NU)125 since 1932 and was a member of Yeopem Baptist Church in Edenton.
Survivors other than his wife include a son, Harry F. Wilson III of Roanoke, 
Va.; two daughters, Diana McGaha and Ann Wilson, both of Virginia Beach; a 
brother, Byrd Wilson of Currituck; four grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Joseph Scalf. The family will receive friends at the 
residence. Williford-Barham Funeral Home, Edenton, is in charge of arrangements.
