Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, February 14, 1999 
Leroy Woodrow ``Globe'' Wilson, 84, of the 2600 block of Hale St., died Feb. 10,
1999, at his home.

Born in Windsor, N.C., he was a retired welder from Norfolk Naval Shipyard with
30 years of service. He had been retired for 20 years and was a 33rd-degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee Wilson of the home; grandchildren, Patricia
Copeland, Ralph Lane Jr., Betty Jean Davis, Cynthia Engram and Carl Lane; a
godchild, Bobby Lane; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in the chapel of Hale Funeral Home
by the Rev. John Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
