Mrs. Blanche H. Wilton died in a New York City hospital last week following 
a short illness. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. July 11 at Shiloh 
Baptist Church, Norfolk, with the Rev. W. L. Hamilton, D.D., pastor, 
officiating. He was assisted by the Venerable Richard B. Marton, rector, 
Grace Protestant Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Wilton was a native of Norfolk, and lived in New York City more than 20 
years. Survivors are her husband, David Wilton; three sisters, Mrs. Louise 
J. Alston, of New York City; Mrs. Hattie Marshall and Mrs. Josephine 
McDaniels, of Norfolk VA; three brothers, James Harrison, of Norfolk VA, and 
Samuel and Claudius Harrison of New York City. Interment was in Calvary 
Cemetery with King's Funeral Home in charge.
