Norfolk - Mrs. Viola Poindexter Winborne died recently in a local hospital after 
a long illness.  She was a resident of 727 C. avenue and a native of Norfolk.  
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mrs. Susan Poindexter, and the widow 
of Thomas Winborne.  Mrs Winborne was a member of First Baptist Bute street and 
a former member of the Daughters of Norfolk.

The funeral service was held Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. in B. F. King Funeral 
Chapel.  The Rev. E. Paul Simms officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
