Winborne of Staunton, Va. and daughter of O.M. Lynch, of this city, died suddenly yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at her home in Staunton. The deceased was a native of Norfolk county and lived here until three years ago, where she was well known and highly esteemed. The announcement of her death came as a surprise, as the family and relatives here had received no information of her illness. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Martha, 15 years old and son, Ernest, 12 years old and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Speight of New Bern, N.C. and Mrs. W.A. Johnson, 607 Chestnut street, this city. The body will arrive this afternoon at 5 o'clock via the C. and O. and will be taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. Johnson. The funeral services will be announced later. ********************** WINBORNE - Suddenly, at the family residence at Staunton, Va., Sunday morning, February 21, 1915, at 8 o'clock, Mrs. NORA LYNCH WINBORNE, wife of William E. Winborne, both of Norfolk, and daughter of O.M. Lynch and the late Mrs. Martha Foreman Lynch, aged 39 years. The funeral will be announced later. ****************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Nora Lynch Winborne, wife of William E. Winborne, who died at her home in Staunton, Va., will be conducted at the residence of her sister, Mrs. W.A. Johnson, 607 Chestnut street, this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and will no doubt be largely attended. Rev. W.R. Flanagan, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. L.F. Johnson, pastor of the First Christian Church will officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
