Norfolk - Mrs. Otelia Winfield of 3715 Bowden’s Ferry road, the widow of Charles 
Winfield, died in a hospital.  A native of Kelford, NC, she was a daughter of 
the late James and Mrs. Isabelle P. Burden.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s Church of God in Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Vernice Bridgeforth and Mrs. Bessie Cox of 
Norfolk;  a brother, David Burden of Virginia Beach;  12 grandchildren;  and 
eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held in St. Andrew’s Church of God in Christ by Elder A. J. Jones.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Twilight Funeral Home in charge.
