Cory Wingfield. He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church and a member of Fairmont Park Free Will Baptist Church. He was an amateur athlete in Norfolk many years. He was halfback for the Berkley Braves and the Norfolk Panthers. Surviving, besides his widow, are a daughter, Mrs. Oscar R. Smith of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Biladeau of Boston; and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted in Smith & Williams Funeral Home Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Dale Burden of Fairmont Park Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
