Virginian Pilot January 18, 1910

Creighton Earl Wingfield, the 6 1/2 year old son of the late Robert and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Wingfield, died last evening at 8:25 o'clock of a complication of 
diseases, after an illness of ten days, at the home, 416 Liberty Street.
He was taken with pneumonia, which later developed into spinal meningitis and 
other troubles. He was a member of the Sunday school of Memorial M.E. Church and 
considered a bright boy.
The funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The funeral of Creighton Earl Wingfield will be conducted from the family 
residence, 416  Liberty Street, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.  Rev. W.W. Lear, 
D.D., pastor of Memorial M.E. Church, will officiate and the interment will be 
in Magnolia Cemetery.
