Wingfield, after an illness of about fifteen days, died at the residence of his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. L.M. Wingfield, last night at 10:20 o'clock. The deceased was 21 years and two months of age, and was well and favorably known in the city. He was married about 16 months ago to Miss Katie Halstead, who survives him He leaves a father and mother, whose names are above mentioned; a sister, Mamie E. Wingfield; two uncles, Messrs. Robert Wingfield and Mr. L.W.N. Godwin. Mr. Wingfield had a host of friends, who will be pained to hear of his death. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. The deceased is one of twelve brothers, who have passed on before him into realms above. ***************************************************** The funeral of Mr. Edwin(Edward) L. Wingfield will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the family residence. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The obsequies will be conducted by Rev. A.J. Ramsey, pastor of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church.
