Mr. Winingder, who had been in failing health several months, fell two weeks ago and broke his left shoulder which perhaps hastened his death. He was a native of Baltimore, but had been a resident of this section for 45 years, a greater part of which he was actively engaged in business. He was a son of the late Lewis and Mrs. Eliza Loudenslow Winingder of Baltimore, and is survived by a widow, Mrs. Sallie J. Winingder; two sons, Thomas Winingder Jr., and W. R. Dougherty; two daughters, Mrs. E. L. Cunningham of Newport News, and Mrs. E. V. McGhee of Norfolk, The funeral will take place at the family residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev. R. B. Scott, pastor of Liberty Street M. E. Church, assisted by the Rev. W. T. Green, pastor of Memorial M. E. Church. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
