Winslow and Mrs. Frances Winslow died at the family residence, 742 Brewer St., Saturday, June 14. Funeral services were conducted in the St. Paul C. M. E. Church, of which she was a member. The pastor Rev. Blackshear, assisted by Rev. Booker, officiated. Obituaries were read by Miss Mary Archer. Miss Winslow graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School Feb. 1930. The attendance was large and the floral tributes were in profusion, some coming from as far as New York. She leaves to mourn their loss mother, two sisters, Miss Elsie M. Winslow and Mrs. Mary Spriggs Carter; four brothers, Solomon, Ralph, Paul and Dorsey Winslow. Pallbearers were Messrs. Kemp Robinson, Elbert Berry, Lymun Watkins and Weldon Bracey.
