Winston, enlisted naval air pilot, who was struck last night on the North Carolina highway by a hit-and-run driver, and fatally injured, will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, Tuesday afternoon at an hour undecided. The body will be taken to the funeral home Monday. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Winston, his brother stated, was on his way to visit his sister, Mrs. L.A. Saunders, who lives near the place where he met his death. Friends had taken him out as far as "The Three Black Cats" station and his brother believes he was walking the remainder of the distance to his sister's home when he was struck by the hit-and-run driver. Surviving Mr. Winston are his wife, Mrs. Anna Lee Winston, three children, J.M. and Patricia Winston and a month-old child, all of Chervely, Md.; seven brothers, G.H. Winston, of Birmingham, Ala., J.M. Winston, of West Virginia, H.E. Winston, of South Norfolk, P.H. Winston, of Virginia Beach, F.B. Winston, of Seat Pleasant, Md., R.L.E. and R.E. Winston, of Berwyn, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. L.B. Fussell, of 117 Eighteenth Street, Norfolk; Mrs. J.I. Green, of Norfolk, Mrs. A.L. Johnson, of Hyattsville, Md. and Mrs. L.A. Saunders of Suffolk.
