Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 13,1943
Funeral services for John Wise, 39, who died suddenly on October 29, were held 
on November 3 at Hale Chapel with the Rev. E. W. Williams officiating. He is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Wise, his mother, and other relatives. 
Interment was made in Calvary Cemetery with Hale in charge of arrangements.
